THE PROJECT SCOPE

A coordinated specification, from floor to fittings

Flooring

Agree the playing surface, subfloor, finish, line markings and cleaning method. Review moisture conditions and floor transitions with the building team.

Lighting

Define visibility, glare control, mounting positions and maintenance access. Confirm the lighting design against the venue’s intended use.

Adjustable Tin

One tin covers both formats: adjustable between 430 mm for professional play and 480 mm for club through national-standard play. State the competition formats the venue will host, and include the adjustment method, fixing arrangement and replacement parts in the scope.

Fittings & Fasteners

Specify compatible brackets, hinges, handles, fasteners and finishes. Agree the material grade and a practical spare-parts list.

DESIGNED AS A SYSTEM

Details that make the court easier to operate.

A component list should explain how the parts work together. Keep the flooring interface, glass fixing positions and lighting access coordinated so the site team can install and maintain the agreed system.

BEFORE YOU ENQUIRE

Questions worth resolving early.

Do you use the same lighting package for every venue?

No. The fixture count and light output depend on the room, mounting arrangement and intended use. They are confirmed in the project lighting design.

Can components be ordered for an existing court?

A replacement enquiry needs the existing system details, dimensions and photographs. Suitability is confirmed before the component is included in a quotation.

How are technical specifications confirmed?

The quotation and approved specification identify the selected materials and performance requirements. Supporting documents are reviewed for the exact components proposed.
