About Wall Balls, Targets & Rigs
A wall-ball station includes more than a ball and a target. Height, throw path, rebound space, fixing substrate and nearby activities determine whether the arrangement is practical. Floor-standing rigs and wall-mounted targets have different structural interfaces. Your local team must assess the surface or structure accepting those loads.
Configuration & options
| Item | What to specify | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Training balls | Nominal weight, size, outer material and construction | Match the intended use and user group |
| Targets | Size, finish, height arrangement and connection | Coordinate the selected programme and clear space |
| Rig or bracket | Member sizes, connections and mounting details | Assess the complete assembly and load path |
| Fixing interface | Anchor specification and substrate requirements | The building substrate requires local confirmation |
| Storage | Ball retention and convenient return positions | Keep loose equipment out of active lanes |
| Instructions | Assembly, inspection and permitted-use information | The operator needs a repeatable maintenance routine |
Space & installation
Provide ceiling height, intended target positions, available wall or floor details and the circulation plan. Keep the throwing zone clear of glass, lights and other equipment. An illustration does not establish the strength of your existing wall. Any proposed fixing must be reviewed before drilling or installing.
Product checks
- Check weight identification and the condition of ball covers.
- Review target connection details and exposed edges.
- Reconcile rig components and fasteners against the assembly drawing.
- Confirm the required fixing and inspection instructions are supplied.
Questions buyers ask.
Can targets be attached to any wall?
No. The substrate and fixing design must be suitable for the loads and selected assembly. Arrange local assessment.
Do you specify official target heights?
Tell us the intended programme and division. We review the applicable rule rather than applying one height to every training use.
Can rigs include other training attachments?
Only attachments included in the reviewed configuration should be used. Additional functions can change loads and space needs.
